Labor Day is a time to relax, recharge, and celebrate the hard work we all do, but safety should always come first. Whether you’re traveling, hosting a party, or heading out for a long weekend, AWS reminds you to plan ahead:
Travel Smart: Check your vehicle before hitting the road: brakes, tires, fluids, and lights. Avoid distracted or drowsy driving, and take breaks on long trips. Make sure your auto insurance is current in case of any unexpected issues.
Party Responsibly: If you’re hosting, offer non-alcoholic options and ensure guests have a safe way home. Never drink and drive, use a designated driver or rideshare. Confirm your homeowners or renters insurance is up to date in case of party-related mishaps.
