Homeowner’s Insurance in Louisiana

Home Insurance Coverage

At AWS Insurance, we know your house is one of your biggest investments and the place you and your family call home. With a comprehensive home insurance coverage policy with AWS Insurance, we’ll create a custom tailored plan that’s specific to your needs to get you financial protection and compensation for all of your belongings. So what does a Homeowner’s Insurance Coverage Policy usually cover?

  • Damage. You can count on protection from vandalism, hurricanes, lightning, or fire. The insurer will compensate you, so your house can be rebuilt or repaired.
  • Personal belongings. Furniture and appliances can be replaced if covered by the insurance in case of a disaster.
  • Liability for damage caused by you or your family and pets. In other words, if your family causes any property (or physical) damage to let’s say, your neighbor’s house, your insurance policy will cover it. This includes dog bites and other incidents (broken windows, etc).
  • Medical Payments. If your neighbor or friend slips and falls on your property and injury occurs, you can be held liable for medical expenses accrued for diagnosis and treatments. Home Insurance Coverage Policy will cover the cost of those medical expenses to keep you and your family safe from out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Temporary housing rental while the home is being repaired. Chances are you won’t ever use this coverage, but if the time ever comes, you’ll be thankful to have it. It allows your insurer to pay for a hotel or home rental while your house is being repaired, along with other costs of living like meals, within a reasonable limit.

We don’t have to tell you how important it is to have Homeowner’s Insurance in Louisiana. With hurricanes hitting us left and right, it’s important to protect your home and assets, thereby keeping your family safe and secure. Our esteemed insurance experts are here to help find a plan that works for you and your family. You can get started by taking an inventory of all the belongings around your house and securing these documents during evacuation from a hurricane or storm. This will help us determine the value of your belongings and award you the reimbursement you deserve to get your belongings back.
