Car Insurance Shopping Guide

Are you idling on the road to buying car insurance? Nobody likes buying car insurance. Car insurance is never really appreciated until you need it. If you follow our tips, you’ll enjoy the ride!

Be Prepared and Provide the Right Answers
In order to obtain an accurate rate quote, you will need to answer some questions. If you don’t answer the questions correctly, you could find yourself over or underinsured. Insurers will want to know details about your car, where you live, and your driving habits. Lying can leave you uncovered in case of an accident. Additionally, it could cause your insurance company to cancel your policy and tarnish your record.

Understand Your Needs
If you are unsure of what car insurance coverage you need, we recommend you consult with a knowledgeable agent at AWS! Different people require different amounts of insurance. The key is to find the right balance between cost and coverage.

Update After a Major Life Event
Know that your needs change! It is imperative that you update your car insurance policy after a significant life event. These events include marriage, divorce, moving to a new house, or adding a driver to your household.

Bundle Your Policies
One great way to lower your insurance bill is to bundle multiple cars with your homeowners or renters insurance. Right off the bat, you’ll realize how much more convenient it is for you. When it comes to making claims, bundling can save you a lot of hassle. For example, a fire in your garage could damage your car. All it takes is one phone call to start both the homeowners and auto insurance claims.

Protect yourself and your family with the best-built policy custom made for you and your family’s needs. Our car experts will get you the coverage you need, for the price you want.
