The uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage option assists by paying benefits to you if your involved in an accident with a driver who has no car insurance, or too little, to pay for the full amount of your injuries as a result of medical expenses. Similar to the medical payment coverage option, this coverage also covers any other passengers in your car at the time of the accident.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Property Damage Coverage

Drivers taking advantage of this supplementary car insurance coverage will be covered for any repairs to their vehicle if involved in an accident with an uninsured driver. The repairs do demand a $250 deductible for the coverage – a small price to pay for repairs to your vehicle. Plus, liability coverage added on will also provide a coverage limited to $25,000, or the actual cash value of the vehicle.

Towing and Labor Coverage

Ever find yourself in a bind with two flat tires and only one spare? Not to worry, those with towing and labor coverage for their car insurance will be covered. This coverage will pay for the towing costs and labor costs associated with your vehicle. Keep in mind that certain policies are limited by this coverage to $25 per tow, though this amount varies by state.

This grants auto liability insurance for licensed drivers unable to receive car insurance coverage in the state of Louisiana.

If you’ve been in an accident and your car is disabled, rental reimbursement coverage will cover the cost for your rental car to make sure your daily routine stays your daily routine without imposing on you during this difficult time.

In the state of Louisiana, all registered owners of a car are required to carry at least liability insurance.
